Has your young Warrior ever been too intimidated or not feel safe enough to join a self defense or martial arts class?
Mike holds an inclusive, trauma informed, safe space for children ages 6-15 of any fitness level in this dynamic movement class aimed to strengthen their mind’s confidence and body’s vitality. Warrior Kids will learn dynamic bodyweight exercises and stretches as well as basic self defense techniques designed for real world challenges.
In this class our Warrior Kids grow stronger as a community as we treat each individual with dignity and self respect. A safe container is held so everyone can have the ability to grow at their own pace.
Our Warrior Kids will learn to overcome the barriers that block all the rich layers of strength and courage within them.
Target age group is 5-12 yrs old.
13-16 yrs old can attend this class, or the adult class, depending on their comfort level.

This isn't your average martial arts workshop. Lindsey & Mike team up to offer a 1/2 day workshop to help build your confidence in your own body in a safe, trauma informed and inclusive space.
You will first get all loosened up in your body as Lindsey guides you through a yoga poses. This important warm up is often overlooked in workshops and is intended to make certain you don't strain or injure yourself through the rest of the day. Mike will offer some Rolf Movement™ techniques to further open your body through the joints.
The dynamic duo then demonstrates basic rolling and hand to hand techniques to allow you to feel empowered again! We will end with a body scan and integrative meditation to help your body and mind assimilate all the new information you learned.
This workshop is best designed for groups mixed with friends and family. If you want a new way to celebrate a birthday or achievement, or if you are just looking for something new to do as a group this class will be a lot of fun!

During this comprehensive workshop, Mike and Lindsey tailor personal defense techniques around YOU. By showing you how to not rely on strength or having to overpower an assailant, they empower you with the tools to move more confidently throughout your day-to-day life.
Whether its a physical technique or a mental strategy, you will learn how to feel more comfortable in your body while leveraging your strengths to overcome challenging situations.
